Its Christmas time and i suppose everyone will be busy taking their breaks and having holidays. So.. care to share with me where will you be going or what will you be doing this holiday season ?
Well, I would like to tell you mine… hee..
As you know, I’ve gotten married this year… so… this festive season, I will be going overseas for a long long trip (3 1/2) weeks for my honeymoon keke. Well, I may not be around to answer your questions within this period… though I will still try to (using hotel internet if they have wireless).
So.. I do apologize if you find me “missing in action”.
But this is not about me… I mean… I am writing this post here to wish each and everyone of you here a very merry christmas. Enjoy this holiday season and go out, have fun… stick to your love ones and appreciate what you have done for the year. Its worth celebrating. =)
Thank you everyone for being here at this blog and supporting me. It is you who make me feel that what I am doing is worth it. To change lives, and fulfil dreams.
Again.. Merry Christmas and a happy new year.
I’ll see you next year ^^
luv,
Kristine
P.S: Share your joy with me and what will you be doing. I would love to hear it as well. Remember, this blog is created for all the hopefuls and cabin crews… so.. its your blog as well =)

Congrads to your wedding and enjoy your honey moon!! Can you help to elaborate a little more about “minimal rest period”? I heard the minimum rest period between flight is 10 hours. Does that mean that there is Absolutely No Way that you can pick up another flight with lesser rest than 10 hours? or is there a way to get around it.
What if i want to max my pay by squeezing additional flight in between off days?
Regards
Doris

hi dear…
erm… nope dear.. its a safety procedure… so.. there are no ways to get around it.
Minimal rest period is the period a crew needs after the flight so that they can perform to their best of their ability during the next flight. So.. nope.. there are no 2 ways about it.
Nonetheless, you can always COF for flights during your off to squeeze in additional flights, ie, a 3 day off, you can have one day off, take a turn around on second day and again, rest on your 3rd day etc before continuing your normal schedule on the 4th day.

Hi Kristine, congrats on your wedding! Hope you’ll enjoy your honeymoon!
I just have a question to ask on SIA interviews, and would like to email you on this. Is it possible?
I’ve left my email here, so am looking forward to your reply. Thanks in advance, and congrats again!

I went for the interview last year (in May) and got through up to the last round (kebaya round), but unfortunately I wasn’t selected after that. They informed that they are unable to let me know the reason for not selecting me, and this I understand.
However, I’d like to know, if I were to try again, do I have to go through all the way from the first initial interview? In other words, start from scratch? Or is it possible for me to go to the management interview straight?
Hope to hear your advice on this soon! Thanks!

Hi Kristine,if I were to apply for a post as CC at the age of 26 frshly graduated with a Diploma (am actually late stopped school for awhile) would the airline still employ me? Prior to that, if I have working experience in the retail frontline industry will I stand a better chance? Furthermore, wouldn’t the airline prefer a more mature and experienced candidate? What’s your take Kristine? Thank you!

its possible dear…
ultimately, its still how you perform during the interview for them to take you in.. as in, how you position yourself as the more mature and experience candidate as compared to others =)

hi dear,
u will need it nonetheless, of course, like, passport or indetification card could serve as a replacement if you lost the b cert. On a side note, for republic of China citizens, you will require a degree to qualify. This is the maj diff =)

Hi hi Kristine
Happy new year to you and thank you for your reply!!!<3
Actually I just graduated from a 3-year college, major in hotel service and manegement, but I am really not sure that the certificate that I hold is considered as a diploma or degree in SG. And if I just go and have a try, the application form that I need to fill up is same as the one that the website applied, izzit? Coz I cannot find other types….

Hi Kristine,
I wanna ask about your manual, how long does it take from the day I pay to the day I got the download link?
And what type is it? (pdf, epop, etc.?)
Thank you and happy new year!

Liv

Hi Kristine,
Congratulations on your marriage! (:
I would like to ask you whether SIA accepts applicants with previous flying experience, or do they prefer fresh graduates?
Thank you in advance.

hi kristine.
i m one of your Disciple(purchase manual from you) and got into an airline. i quit after 8 mths due to having a quarrel with a senior. i plan to go another airline but the senior also there how sia…. will the senior do harm to me if i enter the airline? should i just go or not????
pls give me guidance! should itell the cc head first? cos its gonna be new enviornment?

errr… why dun u stay if he / she is going there ? =)
and no, as you probably know by now, seniors are just like any other crews, remember.. its just one flight dear.. its not as if you fly with him/ her everyday… though the new airline might be becos the fleet is smaller..
sometimes… its best not to take things too hard… I’ve had my bad days as well…but there is nothing to gain to let pride, ego or temper ride over you and yr decisions… think about it… is it worth…?
